Music fans head to westfjords for easter! - It´s free!!

To put it simply, Aldrei fór ég suður (E. I never went south) is a music festival that's held in Ísafjörður, Iceland every Easter. The first festival was held in 2004 and from the start it has featured a wide variety of music genres, mixing big names with local heroes. Unpredictable, electric and family friendly, this springtime celebration of the Icelandic music scene is sure to be an unforgettable experience for guests and artists alike!

Where?

Like in the last few years, it will held in a warehouse-type building that Kampi, a local shrimp processing plant. The site is in the harbor area. To be exact: we’ll be partying where Ásgeirsgata and Suðurgata meet. Click here for the exact location on Google Maps

We’ve never charged admittance to Aldrei fór ég suður – and we’re not doing it this year, either. Come, have fun, for free. Yes, it’s free.
